Interactive discussion: How can C-suite executives work in partnership with comms and PR to drive business growth?

This practical session focuses on defining the strengths and values that set you on a pathway to effective leadership. Participants will be women who have the commitment, drive and ambition to move into leadership roles at different stages of their career. The learning session will engage participants to think about the unique capabilities and values that they bring and align these with the key attributes for an authentic leader with a strategic mindset – one who can catalyse innovation, manage change and inspire a team to grow in competences and strength. It will challenge attendees to reflect on their skills and abilities to look at strategic, operational, human and personal leadership qualities that will set you apart and define and forge your leadership aspiration.

Developing the leadership abilities to prepare and adapt to the global media revolution

This practical session is designed to define the strengths and values that will set you on the pathway to effective leadership. Those in attendance will be communications and corporate communications, public relations and corporate affairs managers from across industry sectors in Australia who are proactively seeking senior management positions. This interactive session will examine how organisational transformation is linked with leadership development and why executive improvement goes hand in hand with adapting to global media disruption. This session will cover different leadership models that will help you identify your best strengths and values and discover what needs to be improved.
