Corporate Events Sales, Delegates
As part of our continuing growth strategy, we are looking for an energetic delegate salesperson, who can communicate well and has a desire to succeed and make lots of commission.
Situated 200m from Manly Beach, this role is your chance to capture the perfect work life balance with the opportunity to run, swim or surf on your lunch break or before/after work. The role:
Working in a tight knit team, you will be responsible for engaging senior managers from across industries and organising delegations for high-level events across a diverse range of industries. You will be given plenty of warm leads, tools and briefings to allow you to deliver the results you want.
Essential skills and experience required:
- Results driven with the ability and desire to manage your time and sales pipelines in order to hit and exceed your KPIs
- Must have a calm and confident phone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You must be an organised go-getter with the ability to work alone and in a team
- Desire to make a lot of money
What is on offer:
- Starting base salary commensurate with experience.
- Monthly sales targets set according to starting base salary.
- Base salary increases available for those who consistently exceed their monthly sales targets.
- A graduate with little or no commercial experience can realistically expect to earn $80K-$100K in your first year. Those with some commercial experience already can expect to earn $100K+ in the first year.

Marketing Executive (Located in Manly)
At Quest Events we create high-level B2B conferences for a wide range of industries, which focus on topical commercial issues. We are well known for our excellent content and the quality of the senior business executives, public sector leaders and key industry vendors that make up our audience.
We currently have an exciting new opening, offering the opportunity to build on your marketing experience and become part of a fast paced team.
Salary range: $75k - $85k per annum.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns for our events, and assisting where needed on administrative marketing activities. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of B2B marketing communications activities including website back-end management, email marketing, digital and social media marketing, content marketing, print, brand development, copy writing and much more.
We are seeking a driven individual with at least one to two years’ experience, with a good understanding of marketing principles.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintaining Quest's event websites and make sure they are always fully up to date with the latest information and are always engaging
- Maintain and update social media channels. Create engagement with audiences on social networking sites including writing for blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
- Copywriting and proofreading
- Set up marketing partnerships with external organizations which includes sourcing new partners
- Coordinate design and production of conference branding, brochures, sales prospectuses, web banners and online/print adverts
- Ensure deadlines are met for advertising and content submission
- Build and design email marketing, social media and websites in HubSpot
Essential skills and attributes required
- University degree majoring in Marketing
- Exposure to working within a CRM and marketing automation platform is a bonus (especially HubSpot) but not essential
- An ambitious self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and still drive the work forward
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to proof and write creative copy
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing deadlines
- Previous experience will be highly regarded
