Supporting bodies at the 3rd annual Australian Domestic Gas Outlook 2015, Sydney

The Energy Supply Association of Australia

The Energy Supply Association of Australia (esaa) is the peak industry body for the stationary energy sector in Australia. We represent the policy positions of 34 electricity and downstream natural gas businesses. These energy businesses own and operate some $120 billion in assets, employ more than 51,000 people and contribute $19.3 billion directly to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product. Our remit is to ensure Australian businesses and households continue to enjoy a safe, secure and competitively priced energy supply today and into the future.

Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association

PACIA is the pre-eminent national body representing the $40bn Australian chemistry industry, Australia’s second largest manufacturing sector. The industry directly employs 60,000 people and contributes approximately 11.5% of total Australian manufacturing production.

PACIA works to help build a dynamic and globally competitive Australian chemistry industry. This work is facilitated through PACIA’s strong partnerships and engagement with industry stakeholders. We believe in a proactive, strategic and collaborative approach for industry to position for the future.

Our members comprise a broad range of companies positioned across the entire value chain, from small family-owned companies and innovative medium-sized enterprises, to leading national and multinational enterprises.

Project Connect

ProjectConnect is an online service designed to list project opportunities and to connect Australian businesses together to find industry suppliers or identify new business opportunities.

ProjectConnect allows businesses of all sizes to become involved in major project work, from prime contractors to small subcontractors. By publishing contact details of companies that have been awarded work on projects, we enable all businesses to build new relationships and networks throughout industry.

ProjectConnect is free, so there is no charge for businesses to create a company profile, register interest in project opportunities and access contact information of contract winners. If you want access to some advanced tools to make your life easier, there is a subscription charge to be paid. However, all information on the system is free of charge.
