Mike BrannanProcurement in Financial and Professional Services conference 2016
Procurement Manager
People's Choice Credit Union

Mikes passion for procurement started when he was a manufacturing engineer and he would regularly inherit “cheap” parts into his manufacturing process and have to pick up the pieces when the process stopped; this lead him into supplier development then into full time procurement. With extensive experience in major Project Procurement underpinned with a deep lean thinking approach with proven delivery across a variety of sectors both public and private; Mike has seen the best and the very worst that projects and procurement has to offer. Like Super Nanny he was regularly parachuted into failing projects to deal with problem suppliers and invariably found that like badly behaved children the problem was usually with the customer not the supplier. With a CV that includes Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Civil and Service sectors with blue chip companies such as Serco, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Vickers, WS Atkins and now People’s Choice Credit Union.
