James Condon has lived at least 5yrs in each of Australia’s 4 largest capital cities. He entered the property industry in 2005 where he commenced his career with JLL. In 2007 James became Director of Industrial and Business Services at Savills. James has been involved in the sale and leasing of property all over Australia.

Dominic Culbert is an ecommerce logistics expert with 18+ years’ experience. As the Group Logistics and Delivery Solutions Manager at the Mysale Group he oversaw the implementation and set-up of its international and domestic delivery network comprising of over 65 shipping lanes across 10 countries. Now as the Head of logistics at Shippit he is responsible for driving the companies’ logistics strategy.
Deborah has been a logistics and supply chain consultant for twenty years, prior to which she worked with Master Foods and the Swire Group. As a consultant, she has led strategy and network modelling projects in Australia, Asia, Europe, and North and South America; and across diverse industries including grain and livestock, cash distribution, consumer goods, industrial, mining and even high-end fashion! Recent clients include Schneider Electric (with projects in Australia, China, Brazil, India and the US), CBH Grain, Meat and Livestock Australia, Unilever, Shell and Ralph Lauren.

Mehdi Fassaie has over 18+ years of experience and has held various strategic, product and technical leadership roles across the media, retail and logistics industries. Mehdi is the founder of Fluent Retail and has been instrumental in designing and building the the Fluent Retail Distributed Order Management platform with a focus on consumer convenience. With experience in product strategy he embraces the uniqueness of each organisation, encouraging sophisticated decision making over doing the obvious.
As a co-owner and Director of Tinyme, Ben oversees the Finance, HR, Compliance & Risk, IT, Customer Service and Logistics functions of the business.

Nathan is passionate about the online logistics and retail space. His eCommerce experience started back in 1999, but most recently has co-founded and grown the award winning online costume retail business www.costumes.com.au and readytoship.com.au, a leading cloud based shipping integration product. ReadyToShip integrates web stores and eBay accounts to carriers like eParcel, Fastway, Toll and more and today boasts a growing customer base responsible for a parcel delivery every 4 seconds in business hours within Australia.
Nathan has experience in all aspects of starting, growing and running eCommerce businesses of different models, from importing and exporting through to online marketing with AdWords, comparison shopping, SEO and multichannel platforms like eBay.He is author of the Australian version of 'Making Money on eBay for Dummies', a regular speaker at online retail conferences and seminars, voted in the Inside Retail Top 50 People in eCommerce in 2015 and 2016, and recent winner of the RetailGlobal Internet Conference individual "Excellence Award" for 2016."
Abdul’s career spans more than seventeen years’ experience within the supply chain industry where he has successfully worked for some of Australia’s leading transport & retail groups including Allied Express, TNT Express, Steinhoff International & Fantastic Holdings.
During this time he has been promoted on numerous occasions and held a number of senior management roles including Global Supply Chain Manager, General Manager & National Operations Manager. As a result, Abdul has a diverse skill set spanning all facets of the Supply Chain & Logistics industry, including road transport, ocean freight, quality, warehousing, rail, freight forwarding and global cargo.
As a senior manager he has also demonstrated my strong business acumen, negotiation skills and ability to foster a positive team environment that is geared towards the achievement of short, medium and long term business objectives. In particular, he is experienced in formulating strategic plans, preparing and analysing financial forecasts and budgets, managing change within the organisation, negotiating contracts and contract renewals, fostering positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and resolving complex issues in a prompt and effective manner.
David Jaffe is co-author of the ground breaking “The Best Service is no Service” (Wiley 2008) which documents some of Amazon’s key techniques in managing customers. He followed this with “Your Customer Rules!” (Wiley 2015) which looks at the importance of the customer experience now that customers are in control. He is one of the leading thinkers on sales and service in Australia and has helped many of the top businesses here and overseas transform their interactions with their customers. He has advised over 50 ASX 200 companies across many industry sectors as well as not for profits and government.
He is the Consulting Director and founder of the specialist customer experience business, LimeBridge Australia. David graduated from Oxford University where he won a half blue for Modern Pentathlon. He lives in Melbourne, Australia and is an avid Orienteer on the board of Orienteering Victoria. He also performed for many years with the Melbourne Symphony Chorus.
Michael Kilgariff is the Managing Director of the Australian Logistics Council.
ALC is the peak national body representing the major and national companies participating in the Australian logistics industry, with a focus on national supply chain efficiency and safety.
Since his appointment to the position in 2009, Michael has worked closely with industry and government to elevate the needs of freight efficiency and safety.
Over 2017, ALC will focus on the development of the National Freight and Supply Chain Strategy, which was announced by the Prime Minister in the 2016 Annual Infrastructure Statement.

After finishing school, Simon joined MacromatiX, a POS software development company. After 3 years, at 21, he and his brother launched ice.com, America's largest jewellery eCommerce retailer into Australia and very quickly became the largest online-only jewellery retailer in Australia.
Peter owns and operates his own consulting and contracting business that provides organisations with a competitive edge through the application of sound supply chain management and process improvements through Lean and 6 Sigma to reduce bottom line costs. The business also performs training design and delivery services for transport and Logistics, Project Management, Competitive Systems and Practices, Management and Leadership.
Peter is an industry recognised Supply Chain Executive and passionate trainer and mentor. Peter is also the Deputy Chairman of the Transport and Logistics Industry Reference Committee and is a member of two Transport and Logistics Technical Advisory Committees for Fatigue Management and training design and delivery in the Pacific region.
Peter has a Diploma of Administration, Certificate in Vocational Instruction, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (including LLN), Project Management Certificate, Applying Sustainability to Learning Programs, completed the Defence Industry study Course and has also completed training in Lean/6 Sigma, adult learning, industrial relations, strategic outsourcing and business planning.
19 years in IKEA, started when I left school at 16 in England. Continued to study and finished a university degree in Wales. All this time I was still working for IKEA part time. Once finished university I worked in expansion projects and in my home store and across the UK with the company. I then got the opportunity in 2004 to move to Australia as a warehouse manager. From there I worked across multiple sites and expansion agendas to the current role where I am looking after the total Retail Logistics operation for IKEA Australia.
David is currently running his own boutique consulting business called Insync Supply Chain Management Pty Ltd which provides an extensive range of supply chain consulting services across Australia and Asia. Insync Supply Chain Management Pty Ltd has significant expertise in the development and execution of supply chain strategies, transforming the integration, alignment and functional synchronisation across all supply chain stakeholders. Prior to starting his own business, David worked in the corporate environment in various senior supply chain management positions with blue chip companies

Martin is responsible for InternetRetailing’s stable of research reports – notably the UK Top500, Europe Top500 and, most recently, the Australia Top250 – which gauge the performance and size of ecommerce and multichannel retailers across the areas of customer experience, operations and logistics, merchandising, brand engagement, mobile and cross-channel, and strategy and innovation. Charles started as a Civil Engineer on site in South Africa and then was sucked in the start-up world in Groupon where he learned analytics and automation. His job at HelloFresh is now an opportunity to mix both worlds. He is crazily data driven and tries to automate everything he does to focus on building relationships and processes with his partners.

Vince has over 30 years’ experience in the supply chain, operations, safety, engineering and lean structures & processes space working for blue-chip organisations in the FMCG, Fashion, Engineering, pharmaceutical and high tech industries, both in-house and as a consultant.
Leading large multi streamed projects and resolving operational challenges including manufacturing execution, system development, maintenance review, safety system, management team coaching and capital development. Vince led a team of more than 40 Safety and Operational Excellence staff, across nine Asia Pacific locations for Campbell Arnotts.
Richard Whetton studied Biochemical Engineering at Swansea University and started his career in the food industry at Dairy Crest Limited. Whilst at Dairy Crest his role took on much more of a production management flavor and he later moved to Deluxe Media Services (then Rank Video Services) who provided manufacturing and logistics services to the main Hollywood studios across Europe and the US.
Whilst working for Deluxe Richard worked in many different roles in different countries, finishing up running a 20,000 sq metre DC based to the South of Paris.
Richard then came to Australia working for Harper Collins book publishers who operated a subsidiary 4PL company providing services to both the publishing and home entertainment industries. Richard finished his time with Harper Collins running this subsidiary company, before moving to the next challenge as GM for Global distribution with the Just Group.
Whilst Richard was with the Just Group they took all seven brands live online with a significant and successful e-commerce offering for which he oversaw the fulfillment implementation and operation.
Richard now works for Catch.com.au Australia’s largest pure-play online retailer and manages the logistics and fulfillment operations for them.
A veteran of the e-commerce industry, Leo founded his first e-tail business at the age of 21 whilst attending university.
Following his career as a corporate lawyer, he founded two further online retail businesses which functioned autonomously whilst he spent the next 7 years with two Australian financial institutions in various managerial roles in their institutional banking divisions.
In early 2015, one of Leo’s businesses was acquired by Klika Group, which he then joined as one of its shareholders, and as a director of its commercial operations. At Klika, Leo oversees Group’s business growth strategies, development and management of its supplier relationships and building of the Group’s brand and market share.
In 2015 Klika Group was voted Top 20 Online Retailer in Australia by Smart Company and was a runner up in Oria’s Peoples’ Choice Awards.
Leo holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University.
