Ben is also a Non-Executive Director of the National Online Retailers Association (NORA) and featured in Inside Retail’s Top 50 People in E-Commerce list for 2015.

David Jaffe

ALC is the peak national body representing the major and national companies participating in the Australian logistics industry, with a focus on national supply chain efficiency and safety.

Since his appointment to the position in 2009, Michael has worked closely with industry and government to elevate the needs of freight efficiency and safety.

Richard Whetton

Richard Whetton studied Biochemical Engineering at Swansea University and started his career in the food industry at Dairy Crest Limited. Whilst at Dairy Crest his role took on much more of a production management flavor and he later moved to Deluxe Media Services (then Rank Video Services) who provided manufacturing and logistics services to the main Hollywood studios across Europe and the US.

Whilst working for Deluxe Richard worked in many different roles in different countries, finishing up running a 20,000 sq metre DC based to the South of Paris.

Richard then came to Australia working for Harper Collins book publishers who operated a subsidiary 4PL company providing services to both the publishing and home entertainment industries. Richard finished his time with Harper Collins running this subsidiary company, before moving to the next challenge as GM for Global distribution with the Just Group.

Whilst Richard was with the Just Group they took all seven brands live online with a significant and successful e-commerce offering for which he oversaw the fulfillment implementation and operation.

Richard now works for Catch.com.au Australia’s largest pure-play online retailer and manages the logistics and fulfillment operations for them.


Leo Zaitsev

A veteran of the e-commerce industry, Leo founded his first e-tail business at the age of 21 whilst attending university.

Following his career as a corporate lawyer, he founded two further online retail businesses which functioned autonomously whilst he spent the next 7 years with two Australian financial institutions in various managerial roles in their institutional banking divisions.

In early 2015, one of Leo’s businesses was acquired by Klika Group, which he then joined as one of its shareholders, and as a director of its commercial operations. At Klika, Leo oversees Group’s business growth strategies, development and management of its supplier relationships and building of the Group’s brand and market share.

In 2015 Klika Group was voted Top 20 Online Retailer in Australia by Smart Company and was a runner up in Oria’s Peoples’ Choice Awards.
