The below in-depth learning sessions run concurrently over the full day.

Registration and morning coffee for either session is at 08:30 and both sessions will conclude at 17:00. Lunch, morning and afternoon teas provided.

In-depth learning session A:
Developing effective strategies to connect your organisation with capital streams

This interactive learning session will explore how to attract the needed capital to facilitate growth across your organisation. Senior managers and leaders responsible for securing investments from domestic and foreign investors outside of the organisation will examine the underpinnings for building an appropriate financial framework and an effective marketing strategy. Participants will learn to structure the challenges and opportunities in order to attract investment. This session will develop an effective and consolidated strategy to attract the significant capital streams necessary to enable growth and progression across your organisation.

In-depth learning session B:
Managing supply chain risk through business resilience and grasping opportunities

This full day session has been designed for operations, strategy and environment managers in organisations which have a high risk of climate extremes, climate trends, technology adoption and globalization impacts. This interactive session will include current business examples and leverage from the experiences of participants to develop an in-depth and personal understanding of sustainable supply-chains. Participants will use key tools to structure the challenges and opportunities in order to facilitate decision-making. The workshop will use small interactive groups to drill deeply into supply chain risk, and the subsequent business decisions that result from new thinking, by utilizing the breadth of professional expertise in the room. This session will explore how to plan and implement an effective risk-management framework across your supply-chain, which considers medium to long-term risk as an opportunity within today’s challenges.
