We have an active community of nearly 700 professional women in blockchain on our main Telegram channel WIBI.io, and have received more than 110,000 hits since soft launch. Code Like a Girl is a social enterprise providing girls and women with the confidence, tools, knowledge and support to enter, and flourish, in the world of coding.

'Women in tech’ is no longer an unheard phrase like it was once upon a time, in fact, it may have even become a catch cry for the 21st century. And while we’ve seen statistics creeping up slowly (oh, so slowly), we have a long way to go before we reach our goal: equal representation of, engagement with, and respect for, women and girls across all areas of tech.

The Gold Coast Innovation Hub was formed by key members of the leadership team behind the multi-award winning software company, Opmantek, and launched in 2017 with the support of the Queensland Government, City of Gold Coast and over 20 corporate partners committed to driving a new digital economy on the Gold Coast.

At the centre of the hub is a purpose built 3 storey work and event space designed by innovators, for innovators, where startups and scale-ups can connect, collaborate, grow, raise investment and expand into global markets.

We also support a network of outreach locations in Burleigh, Mudgeeraba, Southport and Byron Bay with programs, events and activities that broaden knowledge, engagement and networks within the tech and innovation sector.

We’re passionate about storytelling, fast tracking brands visibility, connecting brands with customers and engaging communities. We create, contribute, collaborate.
