Effective and efficient waste management is not just a matter of good will, it needs a well thought out strategy established within a project. High performing waste management, waste minimisation and recycling start with consideration early in the design phase of a building or precinct. Designing an effective infrastructure will not only enable efficiency, but will also inspire people and create competitive advantage. Wording?

This full-day in-depth learning session looks at the considerations for incorporating successful waste management into construction projects and existing building operations. Design teams, architects, developers, facility managers, construction companies and local councils working to ensure new developments will fuse sustainability and efficiency. They will also learn why and how incorporating waste management from the start can drive positive outcomes within councils, design teams and building management.
