Cory Bannister
Vice President, Head of Distribution

Cory Bannister has been with La Trobe Financial since January 2000, specialising in credit assessment, lending operations, portfolio management and the management of delinquent loans.
From 2011 - 2012, Cory was Head of Credit for La Trobe Financial, having overall responsibility for the origination, approval and settlement of institutional and retail loans. In this role he was a key member of the Origination & Credit Committee, lead in the implementation of the National Consumer Credit Code and manager of group originations. Since 2007, Cory has the highest level of delegated lending authority in the La Trobe Financial Group.
Cory's portfolio management experience extends to the selection and allocation of assets for multiple wholesale mortgage portfolios in excess of $1 billion. He has been responsible for the management, review, risk profiling and audit of wholesale asset pools. He has had conduct of the relationships with substantial wholesale and retail investors and been responsible for overseeing reporting in relation to these.
Cory has now been appointed Vice President and Head of Distribution, and is deputy chairman of the Origination & Credit committee ("OCC"), and a member of the Pricing and Liability Committee ("PLC"0).
Lisa Montgomery

With a career spanning more than 30 years in the lending and finance sectors, Lisa Montgomery is a respected leader, commentator and consumer advocate within the Australian financial services industry.
She is the former CEO of financial information provider Infochoice Ltd and more recently CEO of one of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders, Resi Home Loans.
As a nationally recognized speaker and consumer advocate, Lisa is a regular on Sky News and Sky News Business Channels where she appears as a consumer finance and property specialist. She regularly appears and hosts the live to air program Your Money Your Call – Property.
Lisa also produces regular columns for popular financial and property magazines and provides regular commentary for national and regional newspapers.
At the 2011 Australian National Lending Awards Lisa was awarded the prestigious ‘Thought Leader of the Year’ award for her work as a consumer champion, her promotion of the mortgage industry and her years of working with the media.
In June 2012 Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently took a career break to undergo treatment and take time to recover. She has recently retired from her role as Resi Chief Executive, and is currently providing consulting services to the Financial Services sector and beyond.
Lisa is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Services and has recently been appointed as a councillor.

Steve has over 20 years’ global experience in financial services, wealth & asset management and investment banking and specialises in the strategic use of business model innovation and information technologies.
Steve has led major technical programs and corporate development in Australia, US, Latin America, Asia and Europe for global companies including BlackRock, Barclays, Bank of America, ING Barings and was Managing Director of Macquarie Wealth Management at Macquarie Bank.
Today Steve leads a team of technology futurists and corporate strategists applying insights to create opportunities for enterprises from ‘the other side’.
