Australian Industry Group

The Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) is a peak industry association in Australia which along with its affiliates represents the interests of more than 60,000 businesses in an expanding range of sectors including: manufacturing; engineering; construction; automotive; food; transport; information technology; telecommunications; call centres; labour hire; printing; defence; mining equipment and supplies; airlines; and other industries. The businesses which we represent employ more than 1 million people.

We are an organisation committed to helping Australian industry with a focus on building competitive and sustainable industries through global integration, skills development, productive and flexible workplace relations, infrastructure development and innovation. Our legitimacy comes also from our role in and connection with the broader community.


Energy Retailers Association of Australia

The Energy Retailers Association of Australia (ERAA) represents the organisations that provide electricity and gas to almost 10 million Australian households and businesses.

As the peak body for Australia’s retail energy industry, the ERAA lobbies governments to make sure there is a progressive policy platform to help retailers meet customers’ needs.

Our member organisations are mostly privately owned, vary in size and operate in all areas within the national electricity market (NEM).


Energy Supply Association of Australia (esaa)

The Energy Supply Association of Australia (esaa) seeks to positively influence government policy decisions to ensure that Australia enjoys the benefits of a safe, secure, reliable, sustainable and competitively priced electricity and natural gas supply.

The esaa is the peak industry body representing the stationary energy sector in Australia – an industry with more than $120 billion in generation, transmission and distribution assets. esaa members include government owned corporations and private companies who retail, generate or supply electricity and natural gas to consumers in Australia. The Association is fuel and technology neutral and member businesses have investments across a wide range of fossil fuel and renewable generation technologies.


Energy Users Association of Australia

The Energy Users Association of Australia (EUAA) was formed in 1996 to provide a single national association to effectively represent and service the needs of Australian energy users. We exist to  assist our members run efficient and profitable businesses as they relate to their energy use.

There is no other organisation in Australia with the credentials of EUAA to represent the needs of energy users in our rapidly evolving and volatile energy markets.

EUAA operates to support its members, helping them to achieve their energy objectives through a range of services that focus on key areas of Advocacy, Communication, Networking and Service.


Smart Grid Australia

Smart Grid Australia is a non-profit, non-partisan alliance dedicated to an enhanced, modernised electric system. This alliance holds meetings, organises committees, assists with government initiatives, and issues communications to accelerate progress. It can be an important source of ideas, inspiration, and influence for any organisation interested in this burgeoning sector.

Smart Grid Australia is a breakthrough strategy for transforming the nation’s electric power grid with advanced commun­ications, automated controls, and other forms of information technology.
