Jonathan Dutton FCIPS, Director, JD Consultancy & Former Managing Director, CIPSA

Jonathon Dutton was the founding Managing Director of CIPS Australasia for over eight years up until February 2013. He was responsible for all aspects of CIPS activities as the global peak body for professional procurement & supply management in the region. He represented the profession and its standards to the highest levels of business and government. As a former qualified procurement manager himself, as well as sales manager turned marketing director, Jonathan can easily draw on experiences from both sides of the negotiating table. Jonathan has worked in senior positions for British Airways, QANTAS, Regus & CHUBB, and is a fellow of four institutes covering procurement, marketing, management and the royal society of arts. He is also a graduate diploma member of the institute of company directors, and has a degree in economics with accountancy and business law.

Kobus is the Founder and Group Managing Director of The Beijing Axis (www.thebeijingaxis.com), a China-focused international advisory and procurement firm operating in four principal areas. Commodities, Capital, Procurement and Strategy; Clients include global multinationals with a China/Asia agenda and Chinese/Asian multinational firms with a global agenda. Kobus has been working in Asia for over 18 years and is based in Beijing. Before founding The Beijing Axis, he was Head of Investment Strategy and Global Market Research for Asia Pacific for Standard Chartered Bank Plc and, prior to that, he was a Senior Strategy Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Asia. In his early career, he was an Emerging Market Investment Strategist in London a Treasury Economist with Standard Merchant Bank in Johannesburg and an Economist with the South African Reserve Bank in Pretoria. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, a Master of Business from Curtin in Australia and BCom Honours degrees in Finance/Investments and Economics, respectively from UJ and Unisa in South Africa. He is regarded as a thought leader in China cross-border business, has published extensively and has been invited to present as the keynote speaker and to lead discussions in over 20 countries.

Rajiv holds the position of Professor, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at SP Jain School of Global Management, Singapore. In addition, Rajiv is the Director, Damco International Graduate Program at SP Jain, where he has complete responsibility of this program for training and development of Damco participants in the various aspects of management. Prior to joining SP Jain in Singapore, Rajiv has worked in various academic and corporate organizations in India, Dubai and Oman.

Rajiv is keenly involved in executive education and his teaching interest includes Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management and Strategic Sourcing. He is also a regular speaker at various international conferences and has presented his research papers in various parts of the world. The present research interest of Rajiv is The Study of Training and Development Needs of Logistics and Supply Chain Professionals in Asia. His other research interests are-
